HUNTING FROM KANGAAMIUT

Kangaamiut is a village north of town Maniitsoq.

You can call it to take axercise to get some souvenir because you walk far away to hunt

reindeers and musk oxes.

Reindeer and musk ox hunting ( tro get som souvenir) take a place in the territory around

kangerlussuaq.

The participants on that hunting will meet on Kangerlussuaq Airport and they will drive with

car to the harbour, it lies 14 km from the airport.

The boat you will sail with is TARGA27 called TABI-SUNNA. The owner of the boat and

the mate on the boat is Willy Rosing, and he take care to sail the participants to the area

Umiiveralak on that place begins the hunting.

You expect that you are on the hunting in 5 days and sleep in a tent, and majority of participants

are 3-5 persons on each hunting, so if you want to go on hunting by your self so why not?.

You can use guns and a pair of binoculars, but remember to take a sleeping bag, towels, clothes

( warm and waterproof clothes ect.) walking shoes, camera, a pair of binoculars ect.and if you have
